自從爸爸在莓子脖子上掛上一把鑰匙之後，莓子就變得更孤單，只能不斷期待爸爸偶而回來看她。而這把鑰匙對孩子而言是思念、是期望；莓子希望能由鑰匙開啟的瞬間，得到非常溫暖的空間，而不是冷冰冰的、父母都不在的空間。本片主角將鑰匙當做護身符，當她在害怕、悲傷時會不由自主握住鑰匙，父母是孩子的信仰、依靠，但鑰匙兒童只能倚賴鑰匙給予力量。

Since Daddy put a key around the little girl neck, she became lonelier. The only thing the little girl can do is to hope that her Daddy would come back and see her sometimes. However, the key means missing and hoping to the little girl. The kid hopes that the key could open a nice and warm space instead of an ice-cold home and without parents. The lead character of the film takes the key as an amulet. She can’t help to grab the key when she feels scared and sad. Children depend on and believe in their parents, but a latchkey child can only rely on the strength from the key.
